hello friends welcome back to my website makemaneyonline.com today we will be talking about how to set up a business email through gmail for free?.and use it with gmail account like this email@example.com.
And you can use it as website email address like firstname.lastname@example.org which make it a professional email it means you can create email and send or receives using email address.once you have created a business email we will be seeing that how we can connect business email with gmail account so that it will be possible to manage all at the same place we do not required to manage the email addresses at different places.
To create business email you must have domain name and doimain name is easly available in godaddy or other domain provider and we will be using this business email for free,so lets get started.lets take example of godaddy and start now.
1.create account with godaddy or login to godaddy account if you have allready account with godaddy.
2.As you sign in to your account you will be able to see your domain or buy a domain if you don\’t have.
3.Create an email forward in godaddy,to create email forward scroll down and click on additional products and you can see redeem next to that on right click on redeem and new tab will open and click on create forward.
New tab will open here you need to enter the business email that you want to create,it should like email@example.com and enter your gmail address and click on create that means here it telling godaddy to forward all your business email to your gmail account.
Now email forward is created.
4.Now next step is to check weather DNS setting is correct,so to check DNS setting just click on tools as you can see image below.
After clicking on tools under that click on server setting,one new tab will open here you can see that an error is displayed like no MX record were found as you can see image below.
This error shows that the email forward which is created will not work,to fix this error you have to go to DNS setting page and to go to DNS setting go to godaddy account or your domain provider account next click on my products on godaddy account click on domain and next to your domain click on DNS one new tab will open now you can see records scroll down and click on add under records.
And choose type as MX and enter @ to host box and enter smtp.secureserver.net on next box as you can see above image below correct setting and enter \’0\’ for priority and click on save in the same way add second one like select mx and enter @ and like mailstore1.secureserver.net and \’10\’ priority and save you will be able to see exactly same thing in your domain provider account.
Now your mx record is added previously we had error message that no mx record were found now go to same page and refresh it you will see the message that mx record was found.Now your email forward is start working.
Now to test this email forwarding go to any gmail account and sent an email to your firstname.lastname@example.org which you have created for email forwarding and see weather you are receiving email to your gmail account i am sure you will receive it.
Now if we want to send an email from our domain we need smtp server to get smtp server for free click here.
One new website will open called smtp2go click on on try smtp2go free enter your signup details and click on sign up and one new tab will open lets keep that as it is and go to your gmail account and click on setting and click on account and import and click on add another email address as you can see image below.
Once you click on add another email address one new tab will open here you need to enter your from name in the email which appears,and enter your business email which you have created and click on next step one new tab will open and here you have to enter username and password from smtp2go go there copy the username and password and paste it there and click on finish. and copy smtp server and psate it there and set port to 25 and click add account.
Now you will get verification code to your gmail open your gmail account and copy the code and paste it there and click on verify now your are done.
And now if you want to check it go to gmail account go to setting again setting and click on accounts and import now you can see that your business email is added.And if you want to keep this email address as default then click on make default on right side on that page only.
Now your business email is ready to send and receive email at you gmail address and you can test it by sending email. thats all guys i hope this article would helped how to set up a business email through gmail for free?
